Mandy's interest in physiotherapy as a career was sparked as a young teenage netballer who was the victim of repeated ankle sprains. Mandy graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from New Zealand’s University of Otago in 2010. During her undergraduate years, Mandy thrived carrying physiotherapy and first aid duties with the Dunedin Rugby Club and various Otago Rugby Union representative teams. She also regularly provided on-field medical assistance during Super Rugby matches held in Dunedin and Invercargill.
As a new graduate, Mandy relocated to Palmerston North for the opportunity to work in private practice under renowned physiotherapist Mike Harnett. Here she worked with an array of sport injuries, workplace injuries and chronic pain programs. Mandy also continued to work with sport teams, and worked with both club and representative sides in the Manawatu Rugby Union. She also spent two years as the physiotherapist for the International Rugby Academy of New Zealand, working alongside many current and ex-international All Black and Wallaby rugby union players.
In 2013 Mandy and her husband relocated ‘across the ditch’ in search of greener pastures and warmer weather. Since this time Mandy has been working in private practice on the Sunshine Coast. She has worked extensively with chronic back pain, neck pain and headaches, surgical patients, sports injuries and workplace injuries. She enjoys working alongside local netball clubs with the aim of preventing netball-related knee and ankle injuries, and has previously coached netball locally for years. Mandy has more recently worked alongside The University of Melbourne's Centre for Health, Exercise and Sports Medicine carrying out research into knee osteoarthritis management.
In her spare time Mandy enjoys the gym, family time, wining and dining, and making the most of the beautiful beaches that the Sunshine Coast has to offer.
Please note, Mandy is working on reduced hours through early 2026 as she returns from maternity leave.

Amy completed her Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) with First Class Honours at the University of Sydney in 2016. She began her physiotherapy career private practice in Maroubra, NSW, where she worked full time treating a range of musculoskeletal conditions across private practice and aged care settings.
